Anyone who’s spent time at either of our store locations can attest to the quality of service provided by our store team.

Whether you’re dropping in to pick up a specific pair of shoes, need to make a return or exchange, or simply want to browse and ‘talk shop’, our store team has got you covered.

At Likelihood, we understand just how important the store experience is for our customers, so we want to highlight the phenomenal group of individuals who make it what it is.

They represent the best of us.

For this week's store team feature, we sat down with JJ Kim - store attendant at our SLU location and denim extraordinaire.

What’s your name and how long have you been with Likelihood?

My name is JJ Kim, and I’ve been with Likelihood for about 3 months now.

What is your favorite part about working in the store?

Building relationships with both co-workers and customers. It’s a lot of fun getting to know what people's interests are and what they’re drawn to. The more I talk with people, the more and more clear it becomes that fashion is really subjective and it’s truly about what you want and what you think is cool.

**What are some of your favorite products and/or brands that we are carrying in-store right now? **

I’ve been really impressed by Magliano and I also really love the Undercover trench coat we currently have in store. For footwear, my goto pair of boots have been the Our Legacy Flat Toe Boots.

How about accessories?

When we first got Byredo I didn’t love it, but all of the scents have really been growing on me recently.

When it comes to your personal style, where do you draw inspiration from?

I’d say my entry point into fashion in general was through Japanese denim - which I still adore to this day. I always only own 1 pair of jeans at a time. I love the process of how they age and how after wearing them for some time, they really begin to tell a story about your life. That’s something I really love, and something I believe is reflected in how I dress now. I look for pieces that I feel are timeless, that I know I can wear for a long time, and that I know will age gracefully.

If you could swap wardrobes with 1 celebrity, who would it be?

Jerami Grant from the Portland Trail Blazers.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?

I love spending time with my wife and dog. I have a doodle. He’s part Poodle and part Bouvier (a French mountain dog). I also play in a band called Kings Kaleidoscope, and typically spend a couple months out of my year touring nationally and internationally with them.
